Michelle Carlson and Jessica Hicks first met when each of their careers first began in the Furniture and Design industry over 20 years ago. While their careers each took their own path, the two always remained close respected confidants to one another - always looking for creative ways to work together.

For most of her career, Michelle Carlson was a leading Architect & Designer Representative in New York City.  Her experience with Vitra, Herman Miller and Moroso gave her the knowledge and skills to establish MiConcepts in January 2014.

Jessica joined Michelle in 2017 after working extensively in the contract furniture industry with the Architect, Design and Dealer community.  Her experience working directly with Global accounts and Corporate clients enabled her to identify customer oriented solutions.  Jessica was the President of Vitra North America for 3 years prior to joining MiConcepts and brought with her a strong business acumen.
